The Hong Kong-Canada Business Association (HKCBA), founded in 1984, is one of the largest bi-lateral trade associations in Canada, with approximately 1,300 members in 8 active Sections in major cities (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax) – and Representatives in Hong Kong, Regina Saskatchewan and London Ontario – together with strong dynamic connections to 31 similar trade groups in 23 countries around the world through the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide (FHKBAW). HKCBA’s partner organization in Hong Kong – The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong – is a proactive, non-government body representing more than 1150 members of every industry and size with business interests in Canada, Hong Kong and Mainland China.

HKCBA exists to promote two-way trade and business between Canada and Hong Kong, and through Hong Kong to the rest of China, and South East Asia. HKCBA’s programmes and activities encourage and assist Canadian business – particularly the small and medium enterprises – to take the opportunity and initiative to expand their business activities by taking advantage of the exciting opportunities that are available .. now.. and increasingly in future .. in the rapidly growing China marketplace. And to assist by providing advice and example as to how they may do this, in confidence and safety, by using Hong Kong as their business platform to other parts of China and South East Asia.
